Dressed in head-to-toe rainbow sequins, brightly greeting and welcoming each and every person who entered the venue, drag superstar Hugo Grrrl (from Aotearoa/New Zealand) immediately fostered a sense of belonging at his truly fabulous Rainbow Show!

Watching each of the kids in the audience start to open up, relax and enjoy themselves - by singing, listening and interacting with Hugo’s opening dialogue was such a delight. So joyful, friendly and full of enthusiasm, Hugo’s zest for performing was contagious.

Woven into his performance was his children’s storybook on Rainbows (which was available at the end for purchase). With four fabulous weather-related characters: Raye the sun, Misty the cloud, Wayne-o the rain-o and of course Archie the rainbow, the kids learnt facts about the weather in a fun and interactive way. Each of these characters had their own catchy song, and of course their own extremely fabulous costume!

If you are looking for a light-hearted, inclusive, fun show for the family with younger children, look no further than icon Hugo’s Rainbow Show!
