Anisa Nandaula - No Small Talk feels like getting a drink with a friend that you haven’t seen in a while, who’s both brutally honest and deeply funny and is very excited to catch you up on the last year they’ve had.
Arriving on stage with the easy confidence of someone who knows exactly how sharp her perspective is and how gently she can deploy it, No Small Talk is observational stand-up that understands power, language and the strange social gymnastics required to exist at their intersection.
Her delivery is relaxed, timing is tight, and when she does engage the room directly, it’s with immense warmth rather than dominance, maintaining control without flattening spontaneity or inciting hecklers. The audience trusts her from the first minute of arriving, and she takes care of that trust.
Personal, unfiltered and consistently funny, it’s a show that feels effortless in execution but is clearly crafted with sharp observational instincts and a lived-in authenticity about what life throws at you within the delicate ecosystems of workplaces, neighbours and travel. Filled with hilarious material that speaks easily across generations and social perspectives, inviting recognition rather than requiring a shared identity.
It’s a must-watch show from a must-watch comedian, pinky promise.
