Improv RPG brings Call of Cthulhu to the Subiaco Arts Centre for FRINGE WORLD Perth 2026! Witness the amazing Scott McArdle – Keeper of the Lore – weave a tale with the help of Daniel Buckle – the Keeper’s assistant – and become tantalised as they both take on the roles of multiple characters who influence and interact with the investigators on their journey.

Set up as a continuous campaign taking place over three nights, the opening night led the audience through card tricks used to facilitate whether a character succeeded - or not - in their choices and the events that would follow when madness strikes.

The investigators for this cultish campaign, Rhianna Hall as Josephine, Georgia McGivern as Clara, and Tristan McInnes as Louis, all brought extra energy and dynamics to the campaign, requesting audience assistance when they needed something else. From the could-be-Nun lead to the Abbey by a dream, to the upper-class woman trying to find her twin, to the American reporter trying to find a scoop, there’s something for everyone.

The investigators bounced off of each other perfectly, showcasing their skills in improvisation and keeping the audience laughing and on the edge of their seats.  Added comedic moments from Scott McArdle and Daniel Buckle, and the Vocalist Tadgh Scanlan – even becoming the voice inside an investigator's head –  keep the audience engaged and questioning what could happen next.

The whole night was dramatically heightened by the musicians John McPherson and Emily Gelineau, and the incredible vocals of Tadgh Scanlan, which added so much to the campaign and caused the whole event to become perfectly intwined together.

A must-see show, even just to experience this incredible team and to watch the next two nights of this Terrifyingly Amazing Roleplay campaign.
