Expect deep insights into the inner worlds of two young adults finding themselves, their identities, and their place within their families. As a viewer, you’re often left wondering whether the stories and monologues unfolding before you are shaped by exceptional acting or raw truth—until it becomes clear that this theatre piece is, in fact, deeply autobiographical. Performed by a real-life queer family, the work draws from the lived experiences of a queer mother and her two sons as they reflect on upbringing, love, heartbreak, coming out, and the process of transitioning.

The mother plays a central and grounding role, not only as a source of unwavering support for her children but also by bravely sharing her own struggles and growth. The tenderness between all three performers is striking; their care for one another feels genuine, unforced, and deeply moving. This authenticity is what gives the piece its emotional weight.

Set in the intimate Kaos room, the audience feels almost woven into the performance itself, blurring the line between stage and spectator. It’s theatre at its most personal—close, honest, and vulnerable. The atmospheric, spherical music further enhances this sense of immersion, carrying the audience through the emotional journey of this particular family and, by extension, the broader queer experience.
