MARVELous: A Risque Parody features eight performers who owned the stage for the whole hour with a high-energy performance. The audience was treated to various Marvel characters, each with their own take on the character portrayed.

The show was narrated by a superhero. I won’t tell you which one, but he captured the character very well and was very entertaining, utilising comedic audience interaction.

Throughout the show, the dancing was of a very high standard, coupled with bright costumes, which, at times, didn’t remain on the performers! The energy of the entertainers was a delight to see, and the choreography of each segment was very precise.

Sequences throughout the story were of a great quality, entertaining and with clever humour woven in. Music choices were enjoyable and recognisable songs.

The venue’s facilities were used to great effect in every way. The rear TV screen was bright and colourful, the sound system was awesome with great up-tempo music, and the lighting and set changes were cleverly achieved with a great flow, thanks to the hard work of the stage crew.

At the conclusion, the audience's appreciation strongly suggests that the hour was “Marvellous”.

I have deliberately been vague about the content of the show, not wanting to give the story away.

Don’t ask your friends, just go!

It is truly a superhero show where you keenly sit and wonder what’s coming next.
