The second Matt Hale hits the stage, the energy in the room changes. He’s high-octane, magnetic and the kind of performer you simply can’t look away from. You’re laughing before you even realise you’ve started.
This is one of those shows where the volunteers become the real stars, and what Matt does so beautifully is make sure they’re not just funny, but safe, respected and genuinely looked after. It never feels awkward or uncomfortable. It feels joyful.
Matt doesn’t just hypnotise people, he makes heroes out of them.
From start to finish, it’s hilarious. Packed with 90s references, nostalgia, ridiculous moments and that kind of laughter where the whole room is in on the joke together. You don’t need to be hypnotised to have the best time, but watching it unfold is an absolute treat.
Pure fun. Pure chaos. Pure Fringe magic.
This is the kind of show you leave smiling, replaying moments in your head, and immediately telling your friends they have to go.
Final word:
A must-see. For first-timers, regulars and anyone who just wants to laugh hard and forget the world for an hour.
