I walked into this show expecting a full‑blown dance party, with the crowd singing and moving along to nostalgic hits. But the moment we were ushered to our row of seats in front of the stage, it became clear we were in for something different.

MILLENNIAL is a sharply executed cabaret-style production, showcasing an impressive range of iconic tracks from the 90s and 00s. Lisa Woodbrook’s powerhouse vocals commanded the stage from start to finish, effortlessly shifting from soaring high notes to rapid‑fire rap verses. Her backing dancers were just as captivating. Ash Perry’s dynamic choreography and acrobatic sequences, supported by Jesse Waghorn’s infectious energy, steal the spotlight more than once.

But the show offered more than music; it was reminiscent of a greater era.

Sunday audiences can be a tough crowd to warm up, and Lisa certainly had her work cut out for her with some of the more reserved attendees. Still, her quick wit and vibrant presence sparked plenty of memorable, laugh‑out‑loud moments. I especially loved how the audience interaction built gradually throughout the performance, from a "tasteful" serenade to pulling people up on stage to line dance. By the final medley, everyone was on their feet singing, dancing, and fully immersed in the experience.

MILLENNIAL was an absolute nostalgia fest that left me wanting to dance the entire night!
