The Lady Boys of Bangkok delivers a dazzling night of high-glam cabaret, packed with sparkle, polish, and cheeky charm. This troupe of Thai showgirls leads a full-volume celebration, serving polished choreography, punchy lip-sync performances, and a generous dose of slapstick comedy woven throughout.

Bold and beautiful, the costumes are constantly changing and unapologetically fabulous. Shimmering sequins, dramatic lashes, towering hairpieces, traditional Thai dresses, and full cabaret flamboyance combine to create a true visual feast.

Comedy and crowd participation are clear standouts, led by a scene-stealing character performer who sweeps in between choreographed numbers to keep the laughs rolling. Her lip-synced parodies (including a delightfully risqué Coming ’Round the Mountain) and big physical comedy had the room in stitches, while her Tina Turner impersonation, complete with Simply the Best and Nutbush City Limits, was an instant crowd-pleaser.

Front-row punters are treated to the full flirtatious attention of the ever-smiling showgirls, while others are pulled into the action too, drafted into a saucy maraca-wielding dance number or a mischievous blindfolded lap dance that had the whole room howling. The vibe stays inclusive, light-hearted, and just naughty enough without ever tipping into uncomfortable.

The soundtrack is the ultimate party time machine, bouncing from disco and 80s diva anthems (I Will Survive, It’s Raining Men) to Tina Turner and ABBA belters, before charging into noughties dancefloor bangers. Musical lovers will also lap up singalong favourites from Grease, Chicago and Moulin Rouge, plus Todrick Hall’s Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels.

I’d highly recommend this show to anyone chasing a fun, feel-good night out. The festive vibe is perfect for groups of friends, hens or birthday celebrations, yet it’s still tame enough for your mum and aunties, who might just be the bravest ones in the front row!
