The Quizzical Mr Jeff is here this week for his very first solo show and very first performance at the FRINGE WORLD Festival – and who better to bring along than your young siblings, cousins, and other family members for a night of mischievous optical illusions and tricks?

It’s very hard to do a one-man show, but Mr Jeff is not just any man. His energy and flamboyant humour alone are enough to keep the audience entranced and laughing at his quirky performance.

Don’t be misled by the slow beginning, because it picks up quickly and before you know it, you’ll be wowed by the floating crystal balls, dancing ghost jacket and hula-hooping extravaganza.

This circus-magic show doesn’t just end there but continues to become more eccentric with the arrival of a gigantic 6-foot pink balloon, but you’ll have to see it for yourself to enjoy the hilarity.

One thing I’d say before you go in is to prepare to be involved. It’s a highly interactive and fun performance, and you might just be lucky enough to be picked to help out Mr Jeff himself.

When you think that’s all the man has, he pulls out one more trick from up his sleeve and closes with an electric grand finale where everyone is encouraged to join in.

The show wouldn’t have been the same without his charming personality coupled with an eager audience, and that’s what makes it so unique.

The Quizzical Mr Jeff is one of a kind and definitely worth seeing, if not for the magic, then for the undoubtedly fun time you’ll have in the presence of someone able to unabashedly poke fun at themselves and make us wish we were on that stage with him.
