Children of the 80s and 90s, gather round! Do you ever feel nostalgic for your childhood?

The simpler life, the simpler TV programming, board games around the kitchen table? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, then Danny Lakey’s 2020 FRINGE WORLD show is for you.

Packed with pre-millennial pop culture references, sarcasm, wit and more than a few surprises (I’ll never look at a sandwich the same way again) Lakey’s Hips, Lips, Nips and Bits certainly entertains, with Lakey’s clever musicianship taking a starring role.

Think Weird Al Yankovic crossed with Dave Grohl and you’re getting close to the Danny Lakey experience.

Covering a multitude of important topics including Cyber Safety, Road Safety, the ins and outs of relationships and personality testing, there’s something for everyone in this hilarious and fast paced comedy experience (although I admit I had to avert my eyes once or twice).

Not for the faint of heart, Lakey needs no egging on when he’s in full flight: he’ll take you to the limit and then push you right off.

But if the size of the audience is anything to go by, Danny Lakey is a force to be reckoned with in the comedy world.

And … you know, size does matter. Especially when it comes to sandwiches.
