Ever wanted to combine the music and outfits of Tarantino with a sexy cabaret? If the answer is yes or you just enjoy cabaret in general, then this could be a show for you. Each act is connected to Tarantino whether it be through costume, iconic dance moves or reliving those genre-defining songs that we’ve come to love so much.
Rather than just having one stage where all performances take place, a smart decision has been made here to spread the apparatus and various acts over a wider area. This gives everyone an opportunity to catch at least one of the cast members up close and personal.
Each performer is confident, sexy and knows how to flaunt it.
At two hours in length (with intermission), this is a fairly long show. If you are a lover of dance this will be no obstacle as there is a lot of it. Whilst the dancers did a great job, a mere costume change was unfortunately not enough to alleviate a repetitious feeling at times.
Other cabaret favourites including lyre and fire eating were fantastic. The fire eating in particular roused the audience to whoops of exhilaration and included a few touches and tricks less often seen in the genre.
As one would expect from anything even remotely related to Tarantino, this show is definitely not suitable for anyone under age. Whilst the diversity of acts is perhaps lacking in balance, all are skilfully performed. If you are a lover of dance or Tarantino, then this show might just be for you.
