A potpourri of burlesque performances by drag kings and variety entertainers was on offer at The Rosemount Hotel for an exciting assortment of scintillating skits. The ambience was set by the host duo of Mellogamy Muse and Cosmo Enchantee who warned of the pending swearing and nudity, which got the audience into a lather! A gorgeous "Elvis" opened the show with an alluring striptease and then was reluctant to leave the stage and their adoring fans.

We were treated to exotic performances by Twerk Noire dancing to "I'm in Love with Your Body;" Oscar Wilder delighting us in a slinky red dress and then a seriously sexy suit; Camden Champagne serenading us in her wide-brimmed chapeau and belly dancing outfit on the to-die-for animal print shoe/sofa; Six Inch Minx giving a brand-new definition to floor exercises; and Autumn Daze flaunting her flowing rainbow flags and other attributes and being sultry without stripping. I hope I didn't forget anyone - it was all almost too much to take in!

Cabaret De La Crooked is presented by Ardent Artiste Productions, an "all-inclusive/accessible" company supporting "those who do not necessarily fit into the regular environments." They won the Darwin Fringe Festival People's Choice Award 2023 and are on their way to racking up many new admirers at this FRINGE WORLD.

The Rosemount is an excellent venue for this or any performance, as you can enjoy a beverage and dinner on the outdoor patio first before heading into the theatre. From 12 - 18 February, Cabaret De La Crooked will be performing at Neon Palms, in the heart of Northbridge. Don't miss out!
