Everyone gets a Happy Ending!

We all know the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but what if she ended up on a reality dating show, with the Big Bad Wolf as her matchmaker? Tone & Cheek turn everyone’s favourite fairy tales on their head in Happy Endings. With an all-star cast, fiery choreography and a soundtrack of absolute bangers Happy Endings will have you coming back night after night for more!

Happy Endings focuses on finding Prince Charming for Little Red Riding Hood, with Wolfie played by drag queen extraordinaire Fay Rocious hosting the show. Fay brings her signature brand of drag to the stage, hyping up the crowd, setting the scene and whipping out some incredible dance moves and some frankly terrible puns.

Singer Tory Kendrick’s live vocals bring this show to a new level, hitting every single high note whilst strutting, dancing and twirling around the stage as a show-stopping Red Riding Hood. Her rendition of Tina Arena’s Chains is a particular highlight and had the crowd singing along.

Performances from FRINGE WORLD Festival regulars Melina Mall, Natalie Oakes and Matthew Pope kept the crowd enraptured with their aerial skills, dance moves and a very cheeky band of monkeys. Pope’s take on Jack and the Beanstalk defies gravity in a way only he can whilst Mall and Oakes will cast a spell on you with their sorcerous performances.

Most importantly, Red’s Prince Charming, played by newcomer Christian turns out to be a bit of a charismatic wanker with a foot fetish, so Red’s probably better off without him anyway.

Happy Endings is jam-packed with talented performances from aerial silks, a hanging pole, acrobatics and some amazing dance moves that will leave audiences hoarse from cheering, screaming and gasping in awe. This is sure to be another sold-out season, so go on, treat yourself to a Happy Ending!
