About this event

Leo's previous show was banned from venues following allegations of transphobia, despite being written with a transwoman he dated. His new show is a candid account of sex and censorship, ripping into political correctness, environmentalists and 'wokeness'. But most of all the Scottish Comedian of the Year 2017/18 is shockingly funny.

Not for people who sign online petitions. As seen on BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals and the Comedy Store.

"Ridiculously funny...a warm and personal show" ★★★★ Scotsman, 2019
"One of the funniest shows you see all Fringe, Kearse reducing the audience to teary hysterics." Fest, 2019
"A giant of the art" Chortle.co.uk, 2019
"Very funny, very dirty, occasionally shocking, but edgily likeable and happily endearing" ★★★★ The List, 2019

Presented by:
Leo Kearse

Scottish Comedian of the Year Leo Kearse is part of the new wave of raw, bold, American-inspired comedians taking the big UK clubs by storm - doing weekends for The Comedy Store, Glee, Hot Water, Just The Tonic, Top Secret - and abroad, with 2018 taking in 20 countries. He's written for BBC comedy including Sam Delaney's News Thing, Question Time, Breaking The News, Mock The Week and Mash Report.

TV appearances include playing Mick Fleetwood in the ITV drama "Breaking The Band: Fleetwood Mac", ITV Dinner Date, Sky All Out Politics, Question Time Extra Time, BBC Daily Politics, Al Jazeera and BBC2's Funny Business. Leo is the co-creator of sellout show Hate 'n' Live, which has improvising comedians hating on audience suggestions - Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets Room 101.
