Project Pity Party

Is pity a bad thing? No, it most certainly is not. In fact, The Double Act actually think it's a pretty darn good thing that is even worth celebrating. So they are hosting a pity party which you are all invited to. So grab the balloons, your party pants and the fairy bread and join us as we explore how to host the most successful pity party.

We've got all the answers to the most important questions. Such as, how many people to invite, what to wear, do you ask people to bring a plate of food to share? and most importantly, when to pity, where to pity and what to pity.

With fictional statistics and invented equipment, the Pity Party hosts will show you how it's done. You'll be throwing your own pity party in no time.

Presented by: The Double Act

The Double Act is a brand new theatre company that indulges itself by creating brand new works that experiment with the hard questions in new and unusual ways. They have a strong focus on the human experience and particularly like to focus on the society that they are surrounded by. They ask the big questions but allow the audience to form their own opinions. With only two performers in any production, the company aims to create a relationship between it's performers, that is so strong, powerful and comfortable, that the audience can receive twice as much out of the productions. The Double Act plays with comedy, drama, dance and physical theatre, song and many other amazing mediums to aid the audience on a journey to realisation of how society is constructing us.
