Bipolar Rock & Rolla

We're all mentally ill; he's just gone pro! Two-time QLD Music Awards finalist Hayden Douglas brings you Music, Murder & Mayhem in the form of world-class high-calibre stand up and musical comedy. A music festival regular with some (literally) insane stories - on turning in a mate for murder, nervous breakdowns, eight stays in rehab, ADHD, autism and bipolar. It's a killer night of entertainment from a uniquely neurodiverse comedy mind.

He's a black belt in stand up, with knockout songs you'll be singing all the way home. It's wild, inspiring, and makes for a heartfelt and hilarious FRINGE WORLD show!

Rock. Stand Up. Hip Hop. He's the Bipolar Rock & Rolla; prepare to Rock & LOL.

Opener for Brian Posehn (USA), Akmal Saleh, Steve Hughes, and Paul McDermott.

Presented by: Hayden Douglas

After an album, EP and award nominations as a heavy metal frontman, Hayden Douglas turned his full attention to stand up in 2013. "Bipolar Rock & Rolla" draws heavily from his experiences in psychiatric hospitals; a decade-long run of instability and addiction that kicked into overdrive in 2010 when he helped police gather evidence to imprison his friend for murder.

Rock, rap, stand up and storytelling seem like strange bedfellows, but it all makes so much sense when you see his show. A gifted musician who uses the laser focus of autism, the creativity of bipolar and an obsession for comedy to entertain & inspire. There's no other show like this.

"Hayden should've opened for the whole tour" - Brian Posehn (USA)
“One of very few who really nail the musical comedy thing” - Jon Pinder (UK)
