The energy was palpable from the moment the curtain lifted, with the band launching straight into ABBA’s magnum opus, Waterloo. The crowd, ranging from seasoned disco aficionados to enthusiastic first-timers, was immediately on their feet, dancing and belting out lyrics in unison.

Glam Funk Band’s charismatic stage presence made it impossible not to join in the fun. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, the show caters to all. You can immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of the dancefloor, mingling with Perth’s own Anna and Agnetha, or soak up the magic from a comfortable seat. Over nearly two hours of pure entertainment, Glam Funk Band delivered one hit after another, leaving the audience chanting for an encore. The show could be improved by a quick edit of the karaoke subtitles, but we were never singing the right words anyway.
