This is a must see! From the moment you enter the room, to the moment you give a standing ovation, this show is positively fantastic! The truest celebration of the male physique in all its glory: huge biceps, chiseled jawlines, tight bums and… beer bellies! An impressive show like no other you’ll catch at Fringe.

The energy amongst the audience was buzzing and everyone was so happy and excitable. The friendliest audience I’ve ever come across! People giving up their seats for others, welcoming strangers with big hugs, and compliments galore from your new besties. Yay!

Karl Kayoss, the famous boy from Ballajura, played host for the evening - welcoming the audience with a rocky rendition before introducing each sizzling act one by one.

Johnny Wild fashioning his fabulous flannel comes on stage and gets the night started with an oh so sexy routine that gets us all hot under the collar, especially anyone sitting in the front row! This is NOT a time to be coy – get as close to the front as you can, people!

Egson Ham gets us raving and leaves us bewildered with his atypical climax to boylesque. Absolutely bonkers but well worth a watch – I was stunned! The bearded gentleman, Bobbie Sox, has also sneaked out of retirement to give us all a mighty display of what it means to be dirty.

The highlight of the show for this reviewer was Blue Pheonix. He dominated the stage with casual confidence and he mesmerized us all with his seemingly effortless routine. He was strikingly beautiful to watch and I personally can’t wait to see this performer again at Fringe. If you need more than my opinion, in the words of the gorgeous nonna I met in the bathroom at the end of the show: “he was f**king divine!”

After Blue Pheonix’s sultry sequence, out came the performer I’d been most excited to see, Trigger Happy. What a cheeky monkey! He’s cutsie and sexy and naughty and got us all giggling. As well as a well-performed boylesque routine, Trigger Happy’s facial expressions are simply the best. Definitely look out for his other shows at Fringe this year!

To finish the evening, Perth legends, Matthew Pope and Karl Kayoss, each show off their extraordinary talents for everything boylesque. You can really tell they live and breathe to perform, as every detail of their routines is well executed and undeniably remarkable. They are an absolute pleasure to watch.

Overall an utterly incredible show with some of the most experienced, skilful and sexy performers you’ll see at Fringe. I haven’t stopped raving about this show and I’m sure you’ll love it too. Book. Your. Tickets.
