There had been one overwhelming thought in my mind in the lead up to seeing this show.

"How can a show about sex toys be enjoyable for Nan?"

Whilst definitely living up to its name, the hilarious and suggestive performance kept a tastefulness that "removes" any of the awkward feelings you experience when a raunchy sex scene starts playing during an afternoon movie viewing with your parents. So yes, despite the Kleenheat Sizzle factor rating of Very Hot (understandable considering the subject matter) Sex Toy Story is a great show for adults of all ages and can be enjoyed with anyone; family, friends, co-workers, even a first date... maybe.

Full of quick-witted acting, clever script and beautiful serenades. Everything I didn't know I needed was in this show.

The pantomime aspect really made the show interactive, as the audience we were encouraged to call out anything at any time to the actors. The characters often turned to the audience to ask a question only to receive ridiculous answers that they'd improvise into the scene. So, feel free to release your inner deviant child and call out from your seat without raising your hand.

I wasn't expecting to be hit with nostalgia for one my favourite childhood movies. But, between the almost familiar characters and the lounge singer's (definitely not already copyrighted) sultry tones, I was brought right back to the 90's.

The large cast also made for a dynamic performance. Each toy was made into its own unique character. I have to mention how impressed I was with the professionalism of the cast with incorporating current restrictions into the show.

Hands down (there) I "wood" definitely recommend coming to this show.
