About this event

"When one door closes.. the other one is probably bloody shut too!" As the saying goes... Or something like that.

Written and performed by Courtney Hough (Hoff), 'When One Door Closes' explores the trials and tribulations (right after she looks up the word tribulations) of being alive in her twenty-somethings. This is a comedy cabaret about learning how to adjust to the "new norm" whilst figuring out what the heck the "old norm" was, or even if there ever was such a thing as "norm", through music and song.

Courtney Hough is a singer, dancer, actor and musician born in Perth WA. She has completed her BA in Music majoring in Musical Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in Sydney 2014 and graduated with a cert II in Musical theatre at WAAPA in 2011. Since graduating she has worked professionally as a singer, performer and entertainer touring various productions including, live shows Pantomimes and educational musicals nationally and internationally.
