About this event

Australian Baroque appreciates the crafting of a fine wine as much as Vivaldi's compositional genius, and we want to share - not in the sterile concert hall, but with our feet firmly planted on the picturesque grounds of Swings & Roundabouts Winery, Yallingup (trust us, Vivaldi would approve - he was Italian after all!).

You'll get to imbibe on some of WA's finest, fresh from the source and served as the maker intended, along with a captivating taste of Vivaldi's best, also served as intended on the instruments of Vivaldi's day.

So, come early, grab some great food and wine for your picnic (bring a blanket!) and hear Vivaldi's music basking in true WA style: laidback with your favourite glass of Swings wine in hand.

Discover Vivaldi as you've never experienced him before.

Presented by:
Australian Baroque

Australian Baroque is a new national ensemble and early music initiative, formed at its core by WA-based artists. We are world-class players with a spirit of investigation and historical inspiration, bringing you stunning programs and exciting, immersive projects.

Although the ensemble formed mere months ago, they are already Ensemble in Residence at the WA Academy of Performing Arts, ECU and have been recorded by ABC Classics.

Being part of the WA community is central to the aims of Australian Baroque. This is not just an orchestra for the concert hall. Our aim is to build significant and long-lasting ties with both regional and metropolitan communities, performing in galleries, schools, museums, Men’s Sheds, churches, cafes, wineries, pubs and town halls.
