About this event

14 piece Under Cover Big Band has emerged from the Covid 19 restrictions with strong performances in 2021. Band members are all ex -WAAPA or University graduates or very experienced singers and instrumentalists.

Shows are normally three hours in duration, and each show is programmed for the occasion. Currently, the band play50-80s rock and rock and roll, with segments from the Beatles, Elvis, and the Blues Brothers. The band is flexible enough to provide shows with themes as with our recent Halloween show.

Chris Martin

Chris has had extensive experience in playing clarinet, saxophones, and piano. He has been organising and presenting big band shows in the Perth Metro area for the past 30 years. Chris has 10 years of musical directing under his belt and is currently mainly involved with arranging songs for Under Cover Big Band.
