Wise Owl Theatre celebrates the experiences of older people, their stories, their lives. Based on the mythology of the Owl of Athena and through the precepts of wisdom, keen vision, education, and learnedness, our mandate is to produce both new and published works that are an existential inquiry into the facets and frailties of the human experience, encourage inter-generational relationships for young artists to work and collaborate with experienced older theatre professionals and contribute to an older perspective emerging in Australian theatre.

About this event
"An important, thought-provoking, raw, heart-felt and honest work" The Blurb, 2019
Frank has had a stroke and can’t communicate. Evelyn has early dementia. Both are lost inside their own body. After a lifetime together, however, their love so deep, they still communicate with each other—laugh, sing and dance, reliving their life together raising their two daughters Sharon and Miranda. But aging and illness now threaten to physically separate them, only to be further lost to each other.
