About this event

Imagine yourself in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel, the lights dim and then boom onto the stage comes the burst of energy and good humour of the incredible Louis Prima.

After dominating Las Vegas with songs like "I'm Just A Gigolo" and "Buona Sera" for many years Prima also became known for his portrayal of King Louis in the Disney classic "The Jungle Book".

Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys now bring this music to life with the full 6-piece original lineup and style of the great Prima bands.

"One doesn't realise the magical potential of jazz until they've heard the dynamic sound that is Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys" - The West Australian, 2014
