The Nose
A CEO is crying in front of a mirror. His nose is gone. Worse. It's running
through the city streets dressed up as the President of Honduras. This is
the moment its been waiting for. This is its chance for freedom. Disparate
narratives collide around the missing appendage as the CEO tries to win
back some control. The Nose is a hilarious farce about people falling to
pieces amid total economic chaos.
The Bloomshed take inspiration from Gogol's famous short story, turning it into something reflective of our dystopian post-paradise. Winner of the Sydney Fringe Festival Director's Award and nominated for two Green Room Awards, The Nose returns to bring its antics to the free market. 'Snot for the faint hearted.

The Bloomshed began in a backyard shed. They aim to create cutting edge, political theatre. Reinvigorating classic texts through a combination of new writing and devising, they make something new by cannibalising the old.
