About this event

Calling all adventurers! Fetch your family. Fasten your Harness. Fix your laces. Through a series of fun-filled shenanigans we will climb out of a cavernous crevice of complexity and answer the consequential questions: How much poop is up this mountain? Do rock climbers always have a wedgie? But more importantly, what happens when kids define intelligence by the things they can't do, rather than the things they can?

Performed with a perfect blend of theatre, slapstick comedy and stand-up style, this show will leave the little ones laughing their butts off while their parents learn a thing or two from this struggling student turned triumphant teacher.

The Kid Who Climbed A Mountain is a new comedy presented by the Bright Night Collaborative, in association with IntotheMask Theatre.

Presented by:
Bright Night Collaborative

Bright Night Collaborative is a new group consisting of old favourites. Made up of some of Perth’s most interesting and dedicated arts community, they seek to bring together artists from all walks of life. Combining institutional knowledge and experience from all over the world, these collaborators have studied with internationally recognised institutions like Arscomica, Frantic Assembly, iO Theatre, Zen Zen Zo, and more. This has taken them as far as Chicago, Italy, Japan, London and Paris, and now they're back home in Perth to enrich the local community.

This year's collaborators include Alex Robert (iO Theatre, Arscomica), Kat Shaw (Frantic Assembly, Zen Zen Zo), and Shane McMullan (Arscomica, IntotheMask Theatre).
