Tasnim Hossain is a playwright and performance poet. She was the 2017 Resident Playwright at the Australian Theatre for Young People. Her last solo show, Zak and Reefa's Bollywood Funeral, premiered at FRINGE WORLD in 2015 with support from Playwriting Australia's Lotus Salon. It was co-directed by Casey Elder who has directed work for Canberra Youth Theatre, The Cutting Room Floor and independently. Her last FRINGE WORLD show, talk dirty to me, was positively received in 2016.

Casey and Tasnim have been working together for the last five years across Canberra, Sydney and Perth. Their work explores relationships and the different, complex ways we connect. Collectively, they've had their work supported by the Australian Theatre for Young People, Canberra Youth Theatre, NIDA, The Cutting Room Floor, You Are Here, Crack Theatre Festival and Playwriting Australia.
