About this event

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (Thornlie), there lived a beautiful (with make-up and good lighting), young (44) girl, imprisoned in a tower (cul de sac and not technically imprisoned) waiting for her happily ever after. This is her story.

"Koenig has an amazing capacity to present jokes from the female gaze in such a way that even the blokiest of blokes in the room were cracking up" Broadway World, 2018

"This woman knows how to deliver a quality show" ★★★★ The West, 2017

"Koenig looks a bit like an Aussie Pink and has as much spunk, spark and grunt. They ate her up." The West Australian, 2016

"Alone on stage with her guitar, she keeps us in fits singing and chatting about her life. That was hilarious." PerthNow, 2012

Presented by:
Janelle Koenig

Janelle has laughed her way around the country from Marble Bar to Moe and Broad Meadows to Broome. She writes for The Sunday Times, and is the head writer on Channel 7's hit dating show 'Take Me Out'. Janelle has a social media squad of almost 25,000 people fabulous followers, and is proud to consider herself a 'real woman' but keeps her skinny jeans 'just in case'.
