Perth's favourite Fringe playground is The Woodside Pleasure Garden in Northbridge, home to the biggest range of entertainment in the Fringe.

Free entry every day of the Festival, it’s the perfect place to enjoy Perth’s balmy summer evenings with friends or family. There’s buskers entertainment every night, free performances from everyone’s favourite the FRINGE WORLD Mermaids and more food and refreshment choices than ever before.

Located a short stroll from the other FRINGE WORLD hubs including The Ice Cream Factory, FRINGE Central and Yagan Square and with bus, train and car-parking options all close-by.

This pop-up hub takes over the entire park of Russell Square and is licensed throughout. Dogs are not allowed at The Woodside Pleasure Garden (service animals and guide dogs excepted).

Fringe Kids

School holidays are a breeze with Fringe Kids at The Woodside Pleasure Garden, guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s dial.

At The Woodside Pleasure Garden there’s stuff to keep the whole family amused and mesmerised with loads of free and great value shows spanning circus, magic, music, comedy, workshops and more.

The Woodside Pleasure Garden is free entry and the Fringe Kids program is from 18 January to 2 February.


Important Information

The Woodside Pleasure Garden is a licensed area and security may ask to see valid Photo ID to gain entry. If you cannot produce valid photo ID then you may be refused entry, without refund for any tickets purchased. Under 18's are welcome to licensed areas but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, legal guardian or a responsible adult and the decision to allow entry is entirely at the discretion of the licensee. Visit the FAQ page for the valid forms of Photo ID accepted in Western Australia. Note that some events are restricted to over 18s only.

Accessibility

The Woodside Pleasure Garden is an accessible hub.

Wheelchair access to the Hub is via Parker St Entrance.

Wheelchair parking bays are located nearby, on Aberdeen St. 

Unisex accessible toilets on site.
