For its fourth year in a row, the University Dramatic Society is heading off campus to give FRINGE WORLD Festival a taste of its explosive and unforgettable original flavour. The UWA-based society commemorated its centenary in 2017, celebrating the following year with its FRINGE WORLD debut, the chaotically wondrous comedy A Completely Normal Sketch Show. At FRINGE WORLD 2020, UDS kept up its run of fun with their heartbreakingly hilarious, sell-out comedy JUST WAIT!. And now this summer, WA’s oldest theatre organisation is back with its new tricks! UDS is entirely student-run, and develops 6 high-scale shows annually, from musicals and sketch comedy to drama and experimental theatre. You don’t want to miss their wildly celebrated, cutting-edge brand of original theatre!
How to Drown a Fish

About this event
There's only one thing worse than finding band-aids in the pool and that's being a swim teacher in love with a lifeguard.
Abby has been in love with Jamie ever since she started working at the local aquatic centre, but in terms of poolside manner, that's a big red and yellow flag.
Through one angry mother, another 'Code Green' and pigeons finding their way into the kid's pool, Abby just needs to know if Jamie feels the same before she leaves for exchange in a month. But the panic of self-doubt and the anxiety of finding out is making her feel hopeless in the only place she belongs.
Brought to you by some of the talented creatives behind FRINGE WORLD Festival's 2020 sell-out show JUST WAIT (★★★★½), and Sad TV Man (2019) (★★★★★).
Praise for previous shows:
"Wonderfully entertaining comedic theatre" ★★★★★ Pelican Magazine
"Absolutely unmissable... like nothing I've seen before and doubtless, will see again." ★★★★★ FringeFeed
