Gavin Baskerville is a veteran stand-up comedian who began his comedy career in Perth in 1999 as a national finalist in the RAW Comedy competition. Gavin moved to Melbourne in 2000 and cut his teeth in iconic comedy rooms alongside Australia's top comedians.
Gavin has performed in ten Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, was a recipient of the Brian McCarthy Memorial Moosehead Award, and has appeared on The Project and The Comedy Channel's Stand-Up Australia. He has performed nationwide and overseas, and been a warm-up act for “Weird Al” Yankovic, Tommy Tiernan and Michael Winslow. Now based in Hobart, Tasmania, Gavin manages and hosts Jokers Comedy Club.
Gavin was also a script consultant on the recent Australian feature film The Merger and makes a memorable appearance in it.
