St George's is innovative and progressive, providing exceptional pastoral care, learning support and career guidance in a close community in which every child matters. The key to the Music Department at St George’s is openness. Music is accessible to the whole community - students and staff alike. It is a welcoming and distinctly musical space; a place students can learn, collaborate, hang out create and jam.
About this event
Combining sampling, looping, instrumental performance, live electronics and sound design, Electrocity Ensemble writes captivating music crisscrossing funky jazzy vibes through to lush layered soundscapes.
A unique collaboration between students and staff from St George’s Anglican Grammar School, the group is driven by the creative drive of high school students, exploring the innovative potential of traditional instruments in a contemporary electronic world.
