About this event

If you thought Disney would lift you UP, get ready to fall down the rabbit hole. Disney in Drag will have you laughing like a Hyena, crying like Dumbo, and grinning like a Cheshire cat into a Whole New World you didn't know you needed. Prepare to have all your childhood dreams shattered like Cinderella's glass slipper in an elephant graveyard of adult fantasies and gender-bending fairy godmothers. Follow some of your much loved Disney characters and discover sides of them you never knew existed. Warning, your childhood memories may never recover, but we'll be sure to let you off with a happy ending. If you have any reservations, just Let It Go. Be Our Guest and book a seat now!

You'll pity the Poor Unfortunate Souls that miss out on this one.

"brilliantly ballsy" ★★★★

Presented by:
The Hairy Godmothers

Hairy Godmothers are a diverse group of local Perth performers and creatives. Some well-known faces around the FRINGE WORLD scene, and some 2021 debutants/es. Men and women and every tiara and fake-moustache wearing blurred line in-between. From diverse backgrounds of lawyers, musicians, science presenters, actors, dancers, engineers, teachers and poets. Disney in Drag has been pulled together by this powerhouse collective to explore and laugh at modern gender roles, all under the beloved nostalgia of your favourite princes, princesses and princeX's.

After a mind-blowing 2020, they are back with 3 shows and a world tour for 2021.
