Birak Concert

About this event
On 26 January, Supreme Court Gardens will play host to the Birak Concert as part of the Australia Day long weekend. With a plethora of music, dance, amusements, and food, the concert is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities.
Birak is the Nyoongar season for the hot and dry months of December and January: during this time the Moodjar trees flowers are bright orange and are known as the Nyoongar Christmas Trees. In celebration of this important season and featuring the best in dance and song, the Birak Concert promises fun for the wider Western Australian community.
