Baby Wearing with Bey Dance

Dance & Physical Theatre / Events
Scaled brihammond beyby wearing hr 29
Liz Cahalan from Bey Dance wanted to keep dancing once her daughter was born. Dancing around the house with a newborn in an Ergo evolved into a dance class for other parents and carers of young children. Baby Wearing dance is an amazing way to reconnect to your old, dance-loving self while bonding with your new tiny human. During Adelaide Fringe 2016 Liz joined forces with three other fabulous baby wearing dancers to create a giant flashmob for other new parents. The performance showed that women and children can and should be visible and in public, all participants went away feeling stronger and braver in the world with their little ones.

Participants must bring their own structured baby carriers (cloth wraps are not suitable and older model baby Bjorns need to be worn with a scarf).
