I first became aware of Tarot as a young boy. At 10 I would go to my friend's house and together we would spend hours playing cards, unknowingly using the Tarot for our games instead of regular playing cards. At this age I knew that they were different, although we were told it was because they came from yugoslavia, but they felt special in a way. I loved the images that were on them, the names and the colours.
It wasn't until many years later that a girl I adored, my now wife, gave me my first Tarot reading. This is the time I became interested in the actual practice of interpreting Tarot. I was amazed at how something so simplistic could offer so much towards personal reflection.
Tarot is a personal experience, but it is an experience that I enjoy sharing with others.
