Stories From the Office of a Sex Dungeon
A BDSM dungeon is only as good as its staff: the dommes, subs, and of course, the manager. In order to fund her dreams when starting out in stand-up comedy in New York City, Katharyn Henson worked a day job as the manager of a BDSM dungeon. From her desk in the office of the dungeon, Katharyn served as the conduit between clients and her co-workers, becoming immersed within a world often judged and misunderstood and experiencing real stories involving the brilliant, funny and flawed people that shape such an unconventional workplace.

Katharyn Henson started stand-up in New York City, performing nightly across clubs, backyards, and basements before relocating to London, where she now MCs and headlines at top venues and currently tours internationally. A global festival regular, her acclaimed hour "Ew Girl, You Nasty" earned ★★★★ and ★★★★½ reviews and was called “a blast” by The Scotsman.
She previously hosted a New York Comedy Festival show for three consecutive years and was featured in PUMA’s 2023 Who’s Who of Contemporary Culture – London. Katharyn recently returned to FRINGE WORLD Perth, Adelaide Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and the New York Comedy Festival with her new hour, Stories from the Office of a Sex Dungeon receiving ★★★★★ from Europeancomedy.com and was one of five comedy picks from EuroNews in 2024.
