Get your Slice of the Magic with our BIGGEST PRESALE EVER!

MEDIA RELEASE / 20 October 2023

FRINGE WORLD Festival 2024 has dropped its presale with tickets available now to over 200 shows filled with hot, tasty and delicious entertainment.

Perth’s most loved, adored and anticipated annual arts festival returns from 19 January to 18 February 2024 and getting your hands on presale tickets is the best way to guarantee yourself a stunning summer of fun for the whole family.

FRINGE WORLD Program Manager Julia Martini said that the shows on offer this season are going to surprise and delight audiences from all over Perth.

“This is the biggest presale FRINGE WORLD has ever had, and absolutely everyone has a chance to find shows to make them smile, make them laugh and give them an unforgettable experience this summer.”

Fresh from a sell-out season in London’s West End, Bernie Dieter lands in new Northbridge hub L’Euro Grande, offering a hazy night of dangerously funny cabaret, decadent aerials and sultry tunes. Co-starring at this hub is Hans: Disco Spektakulär; the pride of Berlin and America’s Got Talent superstar Hans will leave you laughing, crying and covered head to toe in glitter. Over at The Rechabite, Reuben Kaye brings Perth audiences a world premiere of World War Me.

Burlesque and cabaret are on full display with deLightfully Debauched: Adults Only Cabaret at Planet Royale serving racy sideshow and awe-inspiring circus skills. At Connections Nightclub, Sugar Blue Burlesque have cooked up a multi-course and Michelin Starred performance Buffet du Cabaret.

Family and kids shows are always on the menu at FRINGE WORLD. A Circus Sized Game Show will give audiences the choice of picking the acts and playing the games themselves, The Giant Balloon Show promises a day of raucous fun, and Bubba-licious guarantees smiles for babies too with a sensory display of colour, sound, light and movement to spark joy and ignite wonder.

Comedy lovers are in for a treat in 2024 with the hilarious He Huang returning with her new show Tiger Daughter vs The World, immersive show True Crime Walking Tour – A Comedians Guide to Perth’s Dark Past and Hard Quiz master himself Tom Gleeson bringing his show Gear to the State Theatre Centre of WA. Plus, if you were lucky enough to catch the absurdity of Charles Horse Lays an Egg at a previous fringe, then you won’t want to miss Shark Heist.

For the Switfies out there, join Tone Deft Choir with their show Antihero: A Toast to our Real Friends, Taylor & Swifties at Lyric’s Underground, and groovers can see themselves to History of House at The Rechabite, which will get the whole family dancing with ARIA-nominated DJ Groove Terminator and Grammy Award® winners Soweto Gospel Choir.

Your Fringe won’t be complete till you’ve experienced some theatre and performance art. Full Cream tells the story of two fat queer housemates and the fat joy they have found in friendship. Dear Diary is a hilarious, nostalgic and slightly painful revisit of your teenage years, and 2023 award winning show Colossal returns for a limited season at The Pleasure Garden.
